Travel links to the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Center
Air travel
The Karlsruhe Trade Fair Center has excellent connections to four major international airports: Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Strasbourg and Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden. From Frankfurt: direct ICE highspeed train link, travelling time 1h.
Rail travel
Karlsruhe is a main railway hub for InterCityExpress (ICE), InterCity, EuroCity and InterRegio connections. And it is located on the direct ICE link between Basle and Hamburg which also stops at Frankfurt Airport. Karlsruhe is the starting point for trains running west to east via Stuttgart to Munich. Coming from Paris, it takes less than three hours to reach Karlsruhe on the highspeed TGV.

Public transport
Take the S2 (suburban railway), travelling towards Rheinstetten. Alight at Messe/Leichtsandstraße. Main station: take line 6 (towards Daxlanden/Rappenwörth) or line 4 (Waldstadt) until you reach Europaplatz; change to line S2, travelling towards Rheinstetten. Alight at Messe/Leichtsandstraße. A shuttle service will be provided to/from the main station and the official hotels.
From the A5/A8 motorway (Autobahn)
Coming along the A8 from Stuttgart drive south onto the A5, following signs for Basel. Leave the A5 at junction 48 for Karlsruhe-Süd and follow signs to "Messe“. The road name for satellite navigation systems is Leichtsandstraße (on some systems Leichtsandstrasse) in the Karlsruhe district of Rheinstetten.
From the A65 motorway (Autobahn)
