Across manufacturers the software enables the central configuration and management of IP-networks and routers in buses and trams, ticket machines and stops. Multiple devices can be configured simultaneously. Quick action can be taken in the event of breakdowns or necessary changes in configuration, without taking the vehicles out of service. All connected devices are continuously monitored, with remote installation of security updates for the routers. NMS manages and controls the systems of providers and third-party operators such as passenger information, passenger counting and video surveillance systems.
