IT-TRANS Conference and Exhibition 2020 exclusively digital

Dear exhibitors, visitors, speakers and partners of IT-TRANS,

The rapidly increasing number of corona infections, the expansion of risk areas worldwide and the fact that also the Karlsruhe region has recently been declared a risk area, have led the organisers of IT-TRANS, International Association of Public Transport (UITP) and Messe Karlsruhe, to refrain from holding IT-TRANS from 1 to 3 December 2020 as an on-site live event.

The conference and exhibition will be held as an exclusively digital event. An interactive event-community platform will enable the exchange of information and knowledge between all IT-TRANS players. Please find more information in our press release.

Surely you have individual questions: Please read our FAQs and do not hesitate to contact the IT-TRANS team . We look forward to the dialogue with you!

«We have been following the developments very closely in recent weeks and have been in constant communication with the relevant authorities. Their latest assessment made it clear to us that a cancellation of the on-site event is unfortunately inevitable. Containing the pandemic has top priority. Our decision takes into account the overall protection of the population and everyone involved in IT-TRANS. We acknowledge this with the transformation of IT-TRANS into a purely digital exhibition and conference.»

Mohamed Mezghani, Secretary General of UITP, and Britta Wirtz, Managing Director of Messe Karlsruhe

Quote of Alexandra Reinagl – CFO – Wiener Linien GmbH & Co. KG, Vienna, Austria

This was my first visit to IT-TRANS and I found the focus and organisation of the event very professional. It approaches the topic in a way that is perfectly tailored for the IT needs of the public transport sector. It was a great opportunity to enjoy some helpful and necessary discussions and have some important meetings.
